On November 15, the CTR Win-Win Cooperation Committee carried out its Kimchi Sharing and Daily Necessities Donation event at Changwon Seongsimwon, aiming to help the local community prepare for a warm winter. This meaningful occasion brought together over 50 members of the CTR Win-Win Cooperation Committee, including CTR Group Chairman Kang Tae-ryong and CTR's CEO, to spread warmth and kindness throughout the community.
Approximately 1,600 heads of kimchi and daily necessities worth 7 million KRW were prepared and donated to Changwon Seongsimwon, which operates nursing homes and senior care facilities. The 50 participants, donning aprons and rubber gloves, enthusiastically took part in the kimchi-making process, adding a heartfelt touch to the event.
This year’s kimchi-sharing event held special significance as it aimed to support those struggling due to rising food prices caused by extreme weather conditions like heatwaves and heavy rains.
The participants worked together from start to finish, meticulously seasoning each leaf of well-brined cabbage and carefully packaging the completed kimchi to ensure it would reach its recipients in perfect condition.
The event fostered a warm and cheerful atmosphere, with participants expressing their hopes that “the kimchi, prepared with collective care and kindness, will bring warmth and comfort to those in need.”
The handmade kimchi will be delivered to local elderly residents through Changwon Seongsimwon, helping to enrich their winter meals.
CTR Group and the CTR Win-Win Cooperation Committee are committed to continuing their social contribution activities to bring hope and support to more people.
