On November 7th, our technical lab received the mutual cooperation prize at the DFSS performance sharing conference hosted by Hyundai Motors. The DFSS performance sharing conference is an annual event hosted by R&D division of Hyundai Motors. The excellent promotion activities of DFSS are selected and awarded among the partners of Hyundai Motors which aims to share results of R&D performance by partners and to reinforce cooperation. Hyundai Motors have carried out ‘Partner/ Partner MBB (Master Belt Belt) promotion and education’ to progress the DFSS activities. In 2017, Shim Gyu-bong, general manager of the design 1 team and Kim Chi-hyeong, manager of the design 3 team from our Lab were selected. Through 3-week of education, practice and evaluation, they were designated as MBB for partners this year. And, the Technical Lab has carried out 4 DFSS activities for 2 years. In ‘2017 DFSS performance sharing conference’, a study on the propeller shaft center bearing insulation performance improvement by Kim Chi-hyeong, manager, and Jang Byeong-hyeon, vice manager of the design 3 team was awarded as an excellent theme. As such, we could win the mutual cooperation award thanks to the effort of technical lab to reinforce R&D capacity and to promote the mutual growth so far.
