‘2018 KSAE College Students’ Self-made Car contest was hold at a car racing course area in Saemangeum, Gunsan for 3 days from August 17th. Co-hosted by Korea Society of Automotive Engineers and Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association and sponsored by domestic automobile manufacturers such as Hyundai, Kia Motors, Renault Samsung and Ssangyong, part manufacturers and associated organizations, it is the largest self-made car contest in Korea. Through the sponsoring activity, Central promoted the company to college students who have interest in automobile areas taking an opportunity to secure excellent personnel and ran a PR booth under the supervision of the Central Research Institute’s R&D team. Total 2,430 students of 184 teams from 96 universities and colleges participated in this 3 day-long contest.
