CENTRAL MOTEK won the excellence award of ‘2018 First Half R&D Partner Tech-day’ hosted by Hyundai & Kia Motor. R&D Partner Tech-day is an event hosted to reinforce the R&D capacity of the partner and to improve mutual growth by Hyundai & Kia Motor. The event was held in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do on May 15 and Hyundai & Kia Motor appointed and awarded 15 excellent partners with outstanding technical achievement among which CENTRAL MOTEK is included.

CENTRAL MOTEK acquired 3 points out of a maximum of 3 points in the improvement of durability quality out of evaluation items of HKMC Technical 5 Start. The details of proposal was ‘the improvement of Stabilizer Link joint” which was proposed by Kim Jonghan, assistant manager of Design Team 1. This proposal ■ reinforces the seal performance by applying double layer structure of top ring whose seal performance was weak and ■ enhances durability by changing the contact part which caused deformation of ball sheet when ball stud contacted socket.
