2019 Overseas Vision Workshop (CAC, CAN) 19-09-11

Starting from onsite greetings in each country, the overseas vision workshop took place at CAC (August 22~23) and CAN (September 3). The overseas vision workshop was carried out to introduce the overall status of Central Group to members of overseas corporations and to recognize the value system. 

 

First, there has been a great amount of promotion through posts before the workshop. (Overseas corporation members were not familiar with the word ‘workshop’ and they waited wondering what it would be like.). On the day of the workshop, the purposes of the workshop and employees of the Korean headquarters were introduced by the head of the corporation, consisting largely of the introduction to Central Group, understanding of the value system, discussion for practice and each employee’s resolutions. 

 

 The first session started with the introduction to Central Group, share sales of the entire group and statuses of affiliates and customers. We also shared the mid and long-term vision of each overseas corporation. The members of the overseas corporations showed a very positive response by saying, “there have been only few opportunities to learn about the entire Central Group in addition to overseas corporations." 

 

In the second session, we had a good time to understand the importance, structure and meaning of our value system. Especially, the members of overseas corporations were very serious when introduced to the 2017 Vision Festival. (The responses were that "it was good to understand how our value system was established.) 

 

In the third session, ‘the questionnaire on awareness of value system’ which was offered to the members of overseas corporations was shared and there were O/X quizzes to understand the value system in a more entertaining way. (The percentage of correct answers was unexpectedly high and it was possible to select the final winner :D.) Through discussions, we explored the issues of our organization and had a valuable time to derive matters to be improved. Despite the responses, ‘it is the first time to discuss’, all the members really concentrated on the discussion. 

 

In the last session, all of us wrote down ‘my resolutions’ based on what we felt at the workshops and completed the overseas vision workshop. After the workshop, all the employees came together to take a group photograph. It was said that it was the first time that all the employees both from CAC and CAN came together to take a photograph. Please look at the picture and remember our Overseas Vision Workshop so that each one of us can practice each and every CENTRAL Way along with the core values understood at the workshop.
