On March 12, 2018, CTR VINA was approved for incorporation, and the construction started on April 1, and was approved for completion on November 21. We started to operate the factory on December 1, and had a completion ceremony with internal and external guests on December 7.
CTR VINA Danang Plant was built within Tamtang Industrial Complex with an investment of US 20,000,000 dollars. The factory site covers 55,000㎡(about 16,670 pyeong), and the building area covers 20,460㎡(about 6,200 pyeong). The two factory buildings were built on the first floor, and the office building was built on the second floor. The building-to-land ratio is 37%, and it is built as a relatively comfortable space for production activities.
CTR employees (7 persons) including CTR Group Chairman Mr Kang Tae-ryong, Mr Shinichiro Sakata of Japan's Central Motor Corporation including shareholders (5 persons), 13 suppliers (19 persons) including Woosung Technology, and external guests including Mr Nguyen Ngọc Quang, Party Secretary of Quang Nam Province, officials from various ministries of Quang Nam Province and Sweatshop City (Industry and Trade Department, Foreign Affairs Department, Planning and Investment Department, General Department of Taxation, Labour Department, Resources and Environment Department, Customs, Immigration Department and others) (42), Officials from Chu Lai Industrial Park and Tamtang Industrial Complex and Development Corporation (CIZIDCO) (46 persons) participated in the completion ceremony.
In particular, The Embassy and Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam, the head of KOTRA, the president of KOCHAM (Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry), and financial institutions also attended and congratulated the ceremony.
CTR VINA is a Asian AM production and sales corporation of CTR group, and the first oversea factory of AM business division. We will grow into a base for producing aftermarket parts for exports to Southeast Asian markets including Vietnam. We will grow into a global company that prioritizes cooperation rather than competition and customer value rather than profit.
