The factory manager workshop for enhancing manufacturing competitiveness through the introduction of smart factories took place from April 27th to 28th at the BNK Busan Bank Training Center in Gijang. This workshop was a platform for contemplating what preparations we need before introducing smart factories and what the actual form of the smart factory we envision should be. Although there were various internal events, this workshop was particularly significant as it was the first workshop led by the factory manager, engaging in discussions primarily focused on manufacturing process operations, information system operation and utilization, and R&D execution management. Through brainstorming, we derived several ideas, grouped them, and are preparing to execute them one by one, focusing on visible implementation. Mr. Kim Soon-gi, the Central Masan factory manager, stated, "Although it was the first factory manager workshop we conducted, it was deeply meaningful as it laid the foundation for significant changes from such small initiatives. We plan to institutionalize and continue these workshops in the future."
