CTR R&D team has built up its own aluminum forging technologies through steady development of aluminum forging material, and process design studies. As a result of this continuous study, CTR has been securing the largest share in domestic Control Arm market which was firstly started in 2004, and leading global automotive market.

Minimization of machinery manufacturing parts and reduction of Cycle Time through plastic forming

We retain the plastic forming technology of forming shapes by inserting tube materials to the rotating & striking mold and reducing the thickness in the external diameter direction.

As a method of moving the volume by applying pressure with a roller to the material rotating a high speed.

We retain the plastic forming technology of forming cross sections through sequential forming processing by passing through a metal plate in the forming roller with consecutive rotation and revolution.

Hybrid Injection Technology Grafting Engineering Plastic

We developed a hybrid product technology for product weight lightening by combining metal materials with excellent mechanical properties with engineering plastics. The importance of this technology is growing as eco-friendly policies became increasingly significant in the global automobile market.

We are securing competitiveness with cost and weight similar level to the existing control arms by reinforcing engineering plastic on the part that requires strength. This product is certified through an extreme environment and actual vehicle tests and it is receiving attention as strategic product in the global mobility market.

Starting with the injection type stabilizer link manufactured for the first time in the business in 2014, we are manufacturing ball joints, cross axis ball joints, etc. by applying the injection technology. In particular, the stabilizer link is composed of 20% light weight compared to the existing products.

Ball screw design and mass production technology

Ball screw is a power transmission device to convert rotational movement to linear movement and currently this is switched into electrical device for hydraulic system. Starting with mass production of powertrain ball screws for the first time in Korea in 2019, we have unmanned automation mass production technology. We are expanding and developing EV AWD disconnector actuators, clutch actuators, and ball screws for braking and suspension systems.
