The Story of CTR AMERICA’s Volunteer Activities Filled with Laughter and Hope 25-02-05

본문

At CTR AMERICA, we are committed not only to manufacturing automobile parts but also to growing with the community we are part of and contributing to creating a better world. In November and December of last year, the volunteer activities, including painting at an elementary school and visiting a nursing home, were great examples of this passion in action.

The reason behind planning these activities at CTR AMERICA goes beyond simply doing “good deeds.” The goal is to create a culture where both our members and the community can grow together. The purpose of these volunteer activities is to strengthen a sense of belonging, cultivate important skills such as empathy, communication, and teamwork—skills that differ from work-related abilities—and positively impact the community by contributing to a better environment and life. Additionally, it serves to put CTR's social responsibility into practice.

The members of CTR AMERICA visited Martha Alicia Reyes Caballero Elementary School and gave the school a fresh new look. This school holds a special meaning as it is attended by many of the members' children.

On the day of the activity, about 20 members participated! Using materials purchased by CTR AMERICA, they painted the school’s entrance, railings, playground, and benches in bright colors, revitalizing the facilities. Thanks to the dedicated work from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, the spaces, which had long been worn and peeling, were transformed one by one. Afterward, the children’s laughter became even brighter.

December 6, 2024 – Visit to Centro Geriatrico Yireh Nursing Home

The second activity took place at the local nursing home, Centro Geriatrico Yireh. About 8 staff members participated, helping with lunch preparation, organizing inventory, and cleaning the facility, among other tasks. The most meaningful moment of the day was spending time with the elderly and engaging in warm conversations, which was a deeply moving experience for everyone involved.

CTR AMERICA's volunteer activities have once again shown that small efforts can create big changes. The voluntary participation of our team members, combined with CTR’s sense of social responsibility, helped create this heartwarming story.

CTR will continue to grow alongside the local community, helping more people dream of a happy future.
