Songjeong-dong Tongsaemi Park in Buk-gu, Ulsan, has been revitalized into a safe and vibrant playground with support from the automotive parts company CTR Group.

On December 4th, the CTR Group hosted the opening ceremony of the second "Our Happy Safe Playground" at Tongsaemi Park in Songjeong-dong, Buk-gu, Ulsan (649 Hwabong-dong, Buk-gu, Ulsan). The event was attended by Kang Tae-Ryong, Chairman of the CTR Group; Jung Tae-Young, Chancellor of Save the Children; Park Cheon-Dong, Mayor of Buk-gu, Ulsan; Jung Jin-Ho, Director of JHA Architecture and Design Office; and about 100 children from Buk-gu, Ulsan, and local residents 

The second location of "Our Happy Safe Playground" has been newly established as the "Happy Dream Tree Playground." This playground is designed to encourage children to create their own games and foster creative thinking. It features small urethane hills, a viewing stand, slides of various sizes, and a safe zip line. Additionally, the area around the playground includes a track for local residents to relax, making it a space enjoyable for both adults and children. The "Happy Dream Tree Playground" holds special significance as it involved the participation of local children and residents from the Buk-gu area in every step of its creation, from planning and design to naming the play space.

The CTR Group, in partnership with Save the Children, has been working since 2021 on a three-year project to remodel playgrounds that are outdated or have safety concerns. This initiative aims to provide children with safe play areas and is primarily focused on locations where CTR Group factories are situated. The second location of this project was chosen to be in Ulsan, home to CTR Group's affiliate CTR Mobility. For the creation of this playground, about 300 million won was allocated for the project.

Kang Tae-Ryong, Chairman of the CTR Group, stated, “The Happy Dream Tree Playground is a valuable space where our future generation, the children, can nurture their dreams. I hope it becomes a place filled with their continuous smiles and happiness.” He added, “Starting with the first location in Changwon last year, this year we opened the second location in Ulsan, and next year we plan to inaugurate the third location in Miryang. The CTR Group is committed to leading the way in ensuring a safe environment for children to grow and in fostering mutual growth and harmony with the local community.”
