Sungsan-gu, Changwon City, Kyeongnam announced that it has established MOU on Feb 15 with Central Co., Ltd (CEO, Kim Jong Tae) and other 6 members in connection with 20 million WON’s worth of ‘2018 Charity Sharing Project’
Through ‘2018 Charity Sharing Project’, Central and its 30 partnership companies are scheduled to donate 20 million WON for self-living support businesses such as heating goods, house decoration for residential environment improvement, birthday party for single seniors and acquisition of driver’s license for low-income youth for a year from this month to December next year and also its employees and directors have a plan to support such people in need through volunteering activities, donation of talent, materialistic and human resource support.
In addition, Central donated 5 million WON’s worth of winter blankets for single seniors, child head of household and low-income classes through MOU. Such donated goods are given to neighbors in need via delivery service conducted by 20 employees and directors’ volunteer workers.
Besides this, Central sponsors traffic culture campaign together with KyungnamDominilbo, Kyeongnam A&B orchestra, Kyeongnam young artist’s association and Gosung O-gwangdae. Moreover, Central is under other social contribution activities such as book donation for Kyeongnam Education Office, book reading lecturer and sponsoring book reading event. The chairman of Central, Kang Taeryong is acting as a member of Honor Society which is a group of people who donated more than 100 million WON as of February last year.
The CEO of Central, Kim Jongtae promised to help establish a beautiful corporation culture to share warm heart and hope with neighbors in need and alienation through ‘2018 Charity Sharing Project’to be performed by Central and its partnership companies saying that “I feel corporation’s social responsibility more than anyone else”
