This MOU contains that the both parties shall mutually cooperate to successfully introduce Swit into Central and for digital transformation based on the core competencies technologies of the two companies, and furthermore, Central shall expand its role as a reselling partner for Swit, and Swit as a Smartfactory technology partner for Central.
In the Cloud era, companies are facing the digital transformation with communication and collaboration as a big challenge. In particular, in the non-face-to-face work environment triggered by the coronavirus, mid-sized companies are reviewing existing domestic and international collaboration tools, but most of them are made for small teams, so they are unable to find a satisfactory solution.
Central was seeking digital transformation as opportunities for collaboration with auto sales companies around the world increased. In addition, since it has 19 business sites in 8 countries, it aims to increase productivity by solving the complexity caused by geographic problems. Therefore, Central has introduced Swit as company-wide to improve work efficiency and enable all teams to quickly reach common goals based on improving business processes, flexible communication, and transparent collaboration system. Hence, it is used to manage projects of hundreds of teams under each subsidiary per year, and a window for communication with
partners.
CEO Ju-hwan Lee of Swit Technologies said “Through this case, we once again proved that Swit is the best collaboration tool suitable as a company-wide collaboration tool not only for a small single team, but also for a midmarket and enterprise level. We will lead the collaborative market as a digital transformation partner for companies of various sizes in all industries including IT as well as manufacturing.”
Central manufactures steering, suspension, and driving parts, which are key security parts for automobiles. It supplies to global automaker brands such as GM, Ford, and Hyundai-Kia Motors, as well as leading electric vehicles such as Lucid, which has recently emerged. Based on long-standing technology and experience of OEM, the company is leading the market by occupying the No. 1 market share in the aftermarket in 10 countries.
Swit Technologies is based in Silicon Valley, USA, and has developed and operated an enterprise software Swit that combines “Task Management” function and “Team Chat”, the two biggest axes of digital transformation (DT). Based on its high usability and excellent security at the enterprise level, it is currently used by over 20,000 companies in 161 countries, completing the digital transformation of the enterprise.
