Central and Central Motek have received the prize of Q1(Quality No.1) certification. Q1 is the prize given to excellent supply cooperator that satisfies the Ford’s own screening criterion, and is more strictly screened than the international criterion.
Thanks to the effort of members, the Youngsan factory of Central received 98 points of 100 full marks, and Milyang factory of Central Motek received the high score of 94 points.
They had so much difficulty to be passed by a particular criterion screening, but with the support of several members, they could satisfy the client’s requirement. I think the achievement of Q1 is the result created in harmony with the cooperation and challenge of Central’s members.
With this achievement of Q1, they are ready for to be a global level, so they will make effort to maintain the better reliability with the Ford company, and become as a true partner company.

The Youngsan factory has established the mission of ‘assuring the global competitiveness’ for the bigger growth. They proceeded with the certification of FORD Q1 as one of its execution tasks.
For the past 5 years, Central’s Youngsan factory challenged for the certification, but failed it frequently. We studied again to embody what the certification of Q1 means for us and to understand client’s requirement, and selected as a task how to improve it by understanding our actual level and difference.
There were numerous failures, but with continuous improvements, we realized the certification of Q1 felt far away, and achieved the best grade of GOLD.
By not satisfying now and making continuous improvements, we all will make effort to become a factory with continuous business on the basis of client’s firm reliability by satisfying the requirements not only of FORD but also of other global companies.
We give thanks to quality guarantee team and SCM’s main office that gave us much help in the process.

So far, the standard of global car company was centered on Ass’y product. So, we have thought that distance was far...but we received the prize of FORD Q1 certification!! We think it was more meaningful because we showed that we could produce, manage and operate the forging at the global level.
At the beginning, we had lots of agonies if we could do it, and we remember that we anxiously talked to our members. Responding to them every week, we started having confidence little by little, and felt how important is the cooperation of members.
Although we did not make the ceremony event of Q1 certification due to COVID 19, but give much thanks to those members who were in charge of their role in the preparation process of acquisition. We give thanks even to quality guarantee team, quality control team, production operation team, SCM planning team, Formation Laps etc.
Even in the future, we hope your cheers and support for becoming Milyang factory with more competitive and more technology with AL danjo in the world market.
