In pursuit of Central’s vision of ’CENTRAL to your safety (Central, a company adding safety to all mobility)’, we have established Safety Day and Safety Week to engage in activities creating a safer world.

Safety is the responsibility of us all

We hear about big accidents through the media almost every day. Safety accidents are caused by a variety of problems such as lack of safety managers, safety management as a mere formality, reduction of safety-related costs, illegal acts and expedients, etc. To prevent safety accidents, we will conduct ‘emergency training’ during this year’s ‘Safety Week & Safety Day’ to prevent such accidents. By participating in the emergency training, each employee can learn how to respond to emergency situations and actively deal with them.

Every member of Central participates in ‘Safety Week & Safety Day’
The ‘Safety Week & Safety Day’ has been created as an event for all members of Central (including in-house contractors) to pay attention to safety. We have hold a contest for ‘negligent accident prevention & improvement best practices’ and ‘safety catchphrases’ to reinforce our safety awareness and performance.

The EHS managers emphasized the message that ‘all accidents can be prevented’ and ‘do not hide anything about safety, however trivial it may be’, while organizing this event. You might avoid a crisis by chance, but if you do not remove a factor that can cause an accident from its root, it can lead to a big accident. If a minor accident or a near-miss occurs during your work, don’t hesitate but immediately inform your supervisor (your manager), the EHS manager in your workplace, or the factory manager.

To create safe Central in the future, we need to raise our level of safety awareness. Also, it is important to remember that all members must strive to create a pleasant working environment.
