Central R&D Center’s new campaign 30.30.30 17-02-28

The Central Research Institute launched the '30.30.30' campaign as its achievement goal for 2017.

The '30.30.30' campaign draws its name from the following objectives: reading 30 books, achieving VE (Value Engineering) savings of 30 billion won, and standardizing 30% of common parts.

Reading 30 books within a year is expected to enhance intellectual levels through knowledge and information acquisition, foster active communication within the organization, and ultimately contribute to achieving business performance.

VE savings of 30 billion won represent Central Group's target for cost reduction in manufacturing expenses, aiming to enhance cost competitiveness.

Lastly, standardizing 30% of common parts across various vehicle models produced by Central Group aims to minimize costs related to mold production and other manufacturing processes by unifying the shape, specifications, and dimensions of specific components. This approach ensures efficient assembly and design, minimizes quality issues, and ultimately strengthens product competitiveness.

Mr. Kim Kyu-man, Vice President of the Central Research Institute, expressed his hopes that this campaign would boost employee morale and contribute to the continued advancement of Central.
